Why decomposition

A different file extension does not create editability

Traditional conversion can preserve the same single flattened canvas. Decomposition aims to produce separate visual passes, but the number and usefulness of those passes depends on the image and the approved processing capability.

A format converter only changes the container around one flat image. Image decomposition instead returns separate visual passes that can be edited independently. Output structure and quality vary by image.

Workflow

From one image to separate visual passes

01

Upload

Choose one PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 10 MiB and 16,777,216 pixels. The browser validates it before upload.

02

Process

Seedream v5 Pro uses a 17-credit low-resolution or 34-credit high-resolution reserve, then settles against actual total layers including the background.

03

Review

When an approved backend result is ready, inspect the available passes and download formats before continuing your edit.

Honest limits

Review each result before production use

Complex overlaps, tiny details, text, transparency, and low-resolution sources can need manual cleanup. We do not claim automatic names, groups, masks, editor compatibility, or a processing time until those checks pass.
